Yoga Nidra: the ancient yogic science of deep relaxation and guided meditation. Experience the transformation.
The Practice of Yoga Nidra is the ancient Yogic science of deep relaxation and guided meditation. Yoga Nidra, “the sleep of the Yogi” is a profound state of relaxation, experienced as a completely effortless state of peace and pure bliss.
This is a transformational state between wakefulness and deep sleep that helps enhance physical, mental, and emotional sense of well-being by releasing tensions accumulated and held in these layers of our being to help us connect with the always present inner reservoir of peace and joy within.
Yoga Nidra is a powerful tool for holistic healing and stress reduction practice that brings renewal, restoration and rejuvenation to the physical body. Research studies show that this process of conscious relaxation stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system response in the body, helping to reduce stress hormones and anxiety levels that can lead to many stress-related chronic illnesses and diseases. Yoga Nidra will help you connect with the deep sense of peace that comes from pure and complete relaxation. In fact, some studies suggest that the benefits of 30min of Yoga Nidra are comparable to 3-4hrs of deep sleep.
This experience brings together the ancient yogic practices of deep relaxation and guided visualization to help you withdraw the senses and move your awareness into the deeper layers of the mind. These research-based techniques help thought waves slow down bringing about a state of conscious deep relaxation. In this highly receptive state, we can awaken to unconscious barriers such as unhelpful habits, long-held fears, and destructive emotions and we are empowered to release these deep obstacles and energy blockages that can prevent us from realizing our highest potential. In this state, we’re also open to receive insight from the deeper levels of knowing- so that we can solve life’s challenges with greater ease, more understanding, and clarity.
In this effortless state of being, we can connect with our highest wisdom and are empowered to actualize our most heart-felt intentions or Sankalpa. Sankalpa is a resolve that is an expression of your highest truth, your purpose in life. Sankalpa is a seed you create and plant in the fertile soil of your mind during the practice of Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is a tool for you to use regularly to help you manifest the life you want and deserve and strengthen your connection to the abundance, peace, and joy at your core. Come explore this journey and experience for yourself the limitless possibilities of pure joy, holistic wellbeing, and transformation.
